Five Night Stay at "Kirtland Cutter" Cabin on Lake Coeur d"Alene
Get away from it all with a 6 day, 5 night stay at a designer cabin on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene's exclusive Mica Bay during the month of September. Spend 6 glorious, relaxing days at a lakeside cabin built with materials salvaged from Kirtland Cutter's Spokane home, "Chalet Hohenstein," after it was torn down to build an apartment building. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeping 6 people. Inside it is fully-furnished, with the exception of TV and radio, allowing you the opportunity to cozy up on the couch with a good book or conversation with friends. Outside there is a huge deck, beach, dock access, row boat, and hiking trails to explore. Food and beverages are not included.

Carpenter for a Day
Authentic Restoration Services, Inc., a leading historic and vintage house restoration company in Spokane, will provide a full, 8 hour day of in-house carpentry repair. One of their senior carpenters will tackle just about any project that involves something made of wood. Window issues, storm windows (old-fashioned style), trim inside or out, miss fitting doors, loose hinges, you decide! The project can cover refinishing, or touch up floor repairs, etc. The service also includes up to $150 of materials. If no materials are needed, an additional 3 hours of labor will be provided for a total of 11 hours.
Brian Westmoreland, owner of ARS, will come by your home to help you develop the task. Then appropriate, skilled carpenter will arrive to complete the job on a mutually agreeable date.

Historic Setting: The Reid House was built in 1899 and designed by prominent Spokane architect Albert Held. Presenter Biography: Renee Cebula is a cocktail historian. A history educator for 20-plus years, Cebula and her company Raising the Bar connects people to history through interactive cocktail-themed classes, unique shopping experiences, and in her writing. She has written for Artisan Spirits Magazine, is a speaker at McMenamin's History Pub series, and regularly teaches her cocktail history classes in Spokane, Seattle, and Coeur d'Alene.
